“When times are good, be happy; but when times are bad, consider this:God has made the one as well as the other. Therefore, no one can discover anything about their future.”
Ecclesiastes 7:14
Today’s Word
Life comes to us in seasons—some filled with joy and clarity, others marked by questions and difficulty. Ecclesiastes 7:14 reminds us that both seasons carry purpose. God is present in the days that feel light, and He is just as present in the days that feel heavy.
Solomon teaches us something powerful:
Prosperity reminds us of God’s goodness.
Adversity reminds us of our need for Him.
You may not always understand why one season feels smooth and another feels challenging, but every season shapes you. God uses joy to strengthen your gratitude, and adversity to strengthen your wisdom, dependency, and character.
This is your message for today: Your season is not random—God is in it.If you're in a season of blessing, celebrate it. If you're in a season of adversity, slow down and consider what God is showing you.
There is purpose in the sunshine and purpose in the storm.
Prayer
Lord, thank You for being with me in every season. Help me rejoice in the good days and learn from the difficult ones. Teach me to trust Your wisdom, knowing You make all seasons work together for my good. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
