Fear Has No Hold On You! April 27, 2026

“The Lord is my light and my salvation—whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life—of whom shall I be afraid?”

 Psalm 27:1

Today’s Word

There are moments when fear quietly takes hold—when uncertainty about the future, unanswered questions, or unexpected challenges make you feel small and unsteady. It can feel like you’re walking through shadows, unsure of what’s ahead or how things will turn out.

But this verse reminds you that you are not facing life alone. God is not distant in your fear—He is your light within it. He sees what you cannot see and stands firm when everything else feels shaky. Even when your confidence fades, His presence does not.

Fear may try to speak loudly, but it doesn’t get the final say. God’s strength is greater than anything you’re up against. When you lean on Him, you’re standing on something unshakable.

Take one step forward today, even if it feels small. You don’t need to have everything figured out—you just need to trust the One who does.

Prayer

Lord, You know the fears I carry—the worries I don’t always say out loud and the thoughts that keep me unsettled. Give me courage to face today and strength to keep going, even when I feel weak. Help me trust You more than my fears. Thank You for being my refuge, my protector, and my peace. I place everything in Your hands, knowing You are with me every step of the way. Amen.
