Today’s Word

God never intended for us to walk through life alone. He places people in our path who can guide, encourage, and strengthen us through their words of wisdom. Just as fragrance refreshes the senses, the counsel of a godly friend refreshes the soul, bringing peace, clarity, and joy. True friendship is more than companionship—it is a reflection of God’s love, expressed through honesty, encouragement, and care. When you surround yourself with people who seek the Lord, their advice will always point you back to His truth. Treasure these relationships, nurture them with love, and also be willing to pour into others by speaking words of life and encouragement. In doing so, you become both a receiver and a giver of God’s refreshing grace.

Prayer

Father, thank You for the gift of true friends who bring encouragement and godly counsel. I pray that I may always value the wisdom and support You provide through them. Teach me to be a friend who uplifts, speaks life, and reflects Your love to those around me. Guard my relationships, Lord, and let them be rooted in kindness, honesty, and faith. May every friendship You bless me with draw me closer to You and bring joy to the hearts of others. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
