The Beauty God Sees! December 14, 2025

“Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as elaborate hairstyles and the wearing of gold jewelry or fine clothes.”

1 Peter 3:3

Today’s Word

1 Peter 3:3 reminds us of something timeless and freeing: true beauty is not measured by what we wear, how we look, or how the world defines attractiveness. God sees beyond the surface. He values the heart—the kindness we show, the peace we carry, the love we give, and the character we build in Him.

This verse doesn’t forbid outward beauty; rather, it redirects us toward what matters most. Inner beauty—gentleness, humility, integrity, compassion—shines in ways no outward appearance ever can. When we nurture a heart aligned with God, we radiate a beauty that lasts, inspires, and reflects His love.

Every day, God invites us to grow in the kind of beauty that never fades. A heart transformed by His grace is the most precious offering we can give.

Prayer

Lord, help me value the beauty that comes from You. Shape my heart, my attitudes, and my character so that my life reflects Your love from the inside out. Amen.
