“Then the Lord God said to the woman, ‘What is this you have done?”
Genesis 3:13
Today’s Word
Mondays mark the start of a new week—fresh tasks, fresh pressures, fresh chances to begin again. Genesis 3:13 reminds us that even when we step into a week carrying mistakes, regrets, or things we wish we’d done differently, God meets us with grace, not rejection.
When God asked Eve, “What is this you have done?” it wasn’t a question of condemnation. It was an invitation to honesty and restoration. God allows us to acknowledge where we stumbled so He can guide us into a better path forward.
As you face this Monday, know that you don’t have to hide your worries, flaws, or missteps. Bring them to God. He starts the week with you, offering clarity where you’re confused, mercy where you feel ashamed, and strength where you feel tired. Every new week is a reminder that God is patient, present, and willing to restore.
Prayer
Lord, thank You for the gift of a new week and the grace to begin again. Help me walk in honesty and humility today. Guide my decisions, calm my heart, and remind me that no mistake is too big for Your mercy. Lead me into a week filled with Your presence, wisdom, and peace. Amen.
