"Be still, and know that I am God."
Psalm 46:10
Today's Word
In a world full of noise, distractions, and constant busyness, this verse is a call to pause and find rest in God’s presence. To be still doesn’t mean simply being quiet—it means setting aside the noise and worries of life to focus on who God is.
God invites us to take a moment to reflect on His sovereignty, power, and goodness. When we do, we can rest in the truth that He is in control, even when everything around us feels chaotic. Stillness allows us to reconnect with God and hear His voice, giving us the strength and perspective we need to face our challenges.
In those quiet moments, we are reminded that He is our refuge and strength, our ever-present help in times of trouble.
Prayer
Lord, help me to be still before You, to set aside my worries and distractions, and to focus on Your presence. Remind me that You are in control and that I can trust You with all that I face. Thank You for being my refuge and strength. In Jesus' name, Amen.
