Feed Your Faith! October 17, 2026

“Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word of Christ.”

Today’s Word

We often treat faith like an unpredictable feeling. When we feel overwhelmed, we try to manufacture inner strength or look for supernatural signs. But Paul reminds us that faith has a direct source: the Word of God. If we feed our minds with negative news and daily worries, we will naturally breed anxiety. If we feed our minds with Christ's promises, we will build unshakeable faith.

Prayer

Lord, please open my ears to your truth today. Help me to tune out the noisy distractions of the world and focus on your Word. Let your promises reshape how I view my current circumstances, and grow my faith day by day. Amen.
