“But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him. They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.”

Jeremiah 17:7–8

Today’s Word

By the time November arrives, the momentum of the year can begin to wane. The initial energy we started with feels distant, and the weight of daily responsibilities, unanswered prayers, or unexpected challenges can leave us feeling profoundly weary. Physical rest helps, but sometimes the fatigue we carry is deeper—it is a weariness of the soul.

Today’s Scripture reminds us that running out of personal strength is not a sign of failure; it is a universal human reality. Even the young and strong stumble. The breakthrough happens when we stop trying to manufacture energy out of our own limited reserves and instead anchor our hope in the Lord.

God does not just give a temporary boost of energy; He renews it from a limitless, divine source. When we shift our focus from our heavy circumstances to His faithful character, our perspective changes. We begin to rise above the chaos, finding the steady endurance needed to take the next step.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, I confess that some days I feel completely overwhelmed and empty. Forgive me for trying to carry everything in my own strength. Today, I surrender my weariness to You. I ask for Your supernatural grace to fill me. Renew my mind, refresh my spirit, and grant me the endurance to run this race with peace and joy. Thank You for being my constant source of strength. In Jesus' name, Amen.
