“He replied, ‘Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, “Move from here to there,” and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.’”

Today’s Word

Sometimes we feel too small for the size of the challenges in front of us. But Jesus reminds us in Matthew 17:20 that even faith the size of a mustard seed—tiny, nearly invisible—can move mountains. It’s not about how strong or big your faith is; it’s about who your faith is in.

When we choose to believe, even just a little, we tap into the power of the Almighty. Faith invites God into the impossible. It shifts our focus from fear to trust, from doubt to confidence—not in ourselves, but in Him who makes all things possible.

Don’t underestimate what God can do through a heart that believes. When fear rises or the mountain feels immovable, remember: you’re not moving it alone.

Prayer

Lord, thank You for reminding me that faith—even as small as a mustard seed—can move mountains. Strengthen my trust in You, especially when things feel overwhelming. Help me to walk not by sight, but by faith. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
