“But Esau I have hated, and I have turned his hill country into a waste place and left his inheritance to the jackals of the wilderness.”
Malachi 1:3
Today’s Word
Malachi 1:3 often feels heavy, but within it is a reminder of God’s unwavering love and His call for sincere devotion. Earlier in the chapter, God speaks about the difference between offerings that honor Him and offerings given carelessly. The message is clear: God values the heart behind what we bring to Him.
Even today, God isn’t asking us for perfection—He’s asking for authenticity. He wants our worship, our work, and our daily choices to reflect love, gratitude, and reverence. When we give Him our best, whether in our time, our character, or our service to others, we honor the One who has already chosen us and called us His own.
When you choose to give God your wholehearted offering—your attention, obedience, and love—He responds with blessing, guidance, and renewed purpose.
Prayer
Lord, help me offer You my best each day—not out of pressure, but out of love. May my heart stay sincere, my actions honor You, and my life reflect Your goodness. Amen.
