Believe the One God Has Sent! July 9, 2026

“Jesus answered, 'The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent.”

Today’s Word

Believing in Jesus means trusting that His sacrifice is enough, His promises are true, and His grace is sufficient. It means choosing faith when fear whispers, obedience when doubt arises, and hope when circumstances seem uncertain.

The Christian life begins with faith, grows through faith, and is sustained by faith. Every day we are invited to fix our eyes on Jesus, not on our performance, but on His finished work at the cross.

Today, release the pressure to prove yourself. God is not asking you to earn His love. He is calling you to trust the One who has already accomplished everything necessary for your salvation and your victory.

When your heart believes, your life will naturally follow in obedience, love, and faithfulness.

Prayer

Lord, Forgive me for the times I rely on my own efforts instead of trusting in Your grace. Strengthen my faith to believe Your promises, even when I cannot see the outcome. Help me to rest in Christ's finished work and to live each day with confidence in Your love and faithfulness. May my life reflect a heart that believes, trusts, and follows You wholeheartedly.
