You're not perfect, are you? Some of your imperfections may hurt those closest to you, but they often hurt you even more. Our faults and failures weigh down our spirit, but God is patiently working with each of us as we grow.

Let your self-image become swallowed up in the light of the gospel of Christ, who is the image of God.

Prayer

Lord, I know you are abundant in mercy and abundantly patient with me. Thank you for helping me become wiser, better, and stronger. In Jesus' name, Amen.
