You Are Free from the Past! July 5

“Because anyone who has died has been set free from sin.”

Romans 6:7

Today’s Word

This verse reminds us of a powerful truth: in Christ, we are not just forgiven—we are free. The old you, bound by guilt, shame, and sinful patterns, died with Jesus. And the new you has been raised to live in freedom.

You’re not who you used to be. The chains are broken. That voice that says you’ll never change—that’s not God.

Walk in the newness of life today. Let go of the labels. Let go of the lies. You’ve been set free.

Prayer

Jesus, thank You for the freedom You’ve given me. Help me to walk each day in the truth that I am no longer bound by my past. I receive Your grace and step into Your freedom. Amen.
