When God Fights for You! December 19, 2025

“The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.”

Today’s Word

Exodus 14:14 is a reminder that some battles were never meant for us to carry alone. When Israel felt trapped and afraid, God spoke reassurance: be still, because I am fighting for you.

In our own lives, God steps into the places where we feel overwhelmed—into the struggles we’ve tried to fix on our own. When we learn to pause, trust, and let God move, He shows us that victory doesn’t come by striving but by surrendering.

Prayer

Lord, teach me to be still in Your presence. Help me release my grip on the battles I keep trying to fight myself. Give me the strength to trust Your timing, Your wisdom, and Your power. Calm my heart when worry rises and remind me that You are already working behind the scenes. Thank You for fighting for me, protecting me, and covering me with Your peace. Amen.
