“And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.”

Hebrews 11:6

Today’s Word

We often complicate what it takes to live a life that honors God. We think we need a flawless track record, perfect words, or massive achievements. But Hebrews 11:6 strips away the complexity and points us to a single, essential foundation: faith.

True faith is more than just a vague hope or a warm feeling. It is a dual conviction. First, it means believing He exists, which is trusting in His absolute presence even when He feels silent or when life gets chaotic. Second, it means believing He rewards, which is trusting in His good character. God does not ignore your prayers, your quiet obedience, or your secret struggles.

He is a rewarder of those who actively pursue Him.

When you step out in faith, even when you cannot see the next step, you are telling God that you trust His heart. That trust is what truly delights Him.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, thank You for reminding me today that You are real, You are near, and You care about my life. Increase my faith. On days when my sight is dim, help me to rely entirely on Your promises. I choose to trust that You see my efforts, and I rest in the truth that You reward those who seek You. Guide my heart and my steps today. In Jesus' name, Amen.
