Today’s Word

Acts 8:15 reveals the heart of God for every believer: that we would not only know Jesus, but also receive the fullness of the Holy Spirit. The apostles prayed with intention, believing that the Holy Spirit is essential for power, guidance, comfort, and victorious living.

This verse reminds us that the Holy Spirit is not an optional extra—He is God’s gift to help us walk out our faith with strength and clarity. He fills us with boldness, renews our minds, and empowers us to live beyond our natural abilities. Where we are weak, He brings divine strength. Where we are confused, He brings direction. Where we are discouraged, He brings comfort.

Just as the believers in Samaria needed to receive the Holy Spirit, we need Him daily—not just once, but continually. God desires to fill, refresh, and empower His people so they can live with spiritual authority and purpose. His presence changes everything.

Today, open your heart to the Holy Spirit. Invite Him to lead you, fill you, and transform you. You don’t walk this journey alone—God has given you His Spirit to guide every step.

Prayer

Lord, thank You for the gift of the Holy Spirit. I open my heart to receive His power, wisdom, and presence today. Fill me anew, lead me in truth, and strengthen me to live the life You’ve called me to live. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
