“I lie down and sleep; I wake again, because the Lord sustains me.”
Psalm 3:5
Today’s Word
There’s something beautiful about waking up with peace in your heart, knowing that God has been watching over you through the night. Psalm 3:5 is a gentle reminder that even in the quiet, unseen moments—when we’re resting, unaware, and vulnerable—God is still working. He sustains us. He breathes strength into our mornings.
This verse isn’t just about rest—it’s about trust. It’s waking up each day not with fear, but with calm confidence that your life is being held together by someone far greater. You may not have all the answers today, but you have His presence. You may not see the full picture, but you are being sustained by the One who does.
So smile today. Breathe deep. You’re not just awake—you’re upheld, cared for, and deeply loved. Each morning is proof that God hasn’t let go of you—and He never will.
Prayer
Lord, thank You for the quiet strength You give me each day. Thank You that even while I sleep, You are working, protecting, and restoring me. Help me to wake up with joy, trusting that You are the one who sustains me through it all. I receive today as a gift from You, full of peace, hope, and purpose. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
