Today’s Word

As we step into a new month, 1 Chronicles 5:20 gives us a powerful, hope-filled reminder: God responds to those who trust Him. In this passage, God’s people were in the middle of a battle they could not win on their own. They were outnumbered, overwhelmed, and facing an enemy stronger than they were. But everything changed the moment they cried out to God—and He answered.

This is the message for the first day of December:Your victory is not found in your strength, but in your dependence on Him.

Just like the warriors in this verse, you may be stepping into this month with challenges, uncertainties, or situations that feel too heavy to carry. But God is reminding you today that when you call on Him with a trusting heart, He moves. He delivers. He strengthens. He fights for you.

Let December begin with faith—not fear. God is not distant. He hears your voice, sees your struggle, and responds to your trust. What seems impossible in your own strength becomes possible in His hands.

Carry this truth:When you rely on God, you cannot be defeated.

Prayer

Lord, thank You for the promise of Your help and Your presence. As I begin this month of December, teach me to trust You more deeply. I surrender every battle, every fear, and every worry to You. Fight for me, lead me, and help me walk in Your victory. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
