Today's Word
Forgiveness isn’t easy, but it’s essential for our peace. This verse teaches us to remove anger, bitterness, and resentment from our hearts. Unforgiveness only traps us in a cycle of hurt and frustration, while forgiveness frees us to live in peace.
Jesus showed us the ultimate example of forgiveness when He forgave those who crucified Him. Forgiveness isn’t about excusing others' behavior; it's about freeing our own hearts from the chains of anger and hatred.
Prayer
Lord, help me to forgive those who have wronged me. Release my heart from anger, bitterness, and resentment, and fill me with Your peace. May I forgive others as You have forgiven me. In Jesus' name, Amen.
