“If anyone asks you, ‘Why are you doing this?’ say, ‘The Lord needs it and will send it back here shortly.”

Today’s Word

This verse shows us a powerful truth: when God has a purpose, He makes a way. Jesus’ instruction to the disciples may have sounded unusual, even bold—but it came with divine authority. The Lord had already gone ahead of them, preparing the hearts of those they would encounter.

There are moments when God nudges us into something that doesn’t fully make sense yet. But like the disciples, we are called to trust that when God sends us, He has also prepared the path. His provision meets us in obedience. His favor waits on the other side of trust.

When God says, “Go,” He has already arranged what you need—even if you haven’t seen it yet.

Prayer

Lord, give me the faith to obey even when things don’t fully make sense. Remind me that when You call me to move, You also prepare the way. Help me trust Your timing, Your provision, and Your purpose. Amen.
