The Joy of the Lord! September 9, 2025

“Blessed are the people that know the joyful sound: they shall walk, O Lord, in the light of thy countenance.”

Proverbs 4:20–21

Today’s Word

There is joy and strength when you walk in the light of God’s presence. His countenance is shining on you, leading you into blessing and victory. The joyful sound of His promises reminds you that His favor surrounds you and His goodness goes before you. No matter what comes against you, His light brings clarity, peace, and direction.

When you keep your heart tuned to His voice and your eyes on His Word, you live in the reality of His blessing. You are not trying to find the light—you are walking in it!

Prayer

Father, thank You for the privilege of walking in the light of Your presence. I choose to stay attentive to Your Spirit and full of joy in Your promises. Let Your light guide my steps and keep me in peace, strength, and victory. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
