Today’s Word

This verse calls us to live with spiritual awareness—to guard our hearts against compromise, distraction, and weariness. It’s a reminder that even when the world feels unstable, God is still in control, and His return is certain. He invites us not into fear, but into vigilance and hope, walking daily with purpose and purity.

Living “awake” means choosing alignment with God in the ordinary moments—our choices, conversations, priorities, and the posture of our hearts. It means refusing to let the noise of life drown out the voice of God. When we stay spiritually alert, we experience a deeper peace, clearer direction, and a strengthened faith. Revelation 16:15 invites us to live prepared not out of anxiety, but out of love—knowing the One who promised to come back for us is faithful and true.

Lord, keep my heart awake and my spirit steady. Help me walk closely with You each day, living ready and faithful. Amen.
