“I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me.”
John 10:14
Today’s Word
There is comfort in being fully known. Jesus does not love us from a distance—He knows us personally, intimately, and by name. In a world where we often feel overlooked or misunderstood, this truth anchors our hearts: we are seen and recognized by the Good Shepherd Himself.
Belonging to Jesus means we are not just part of a crowd; we are His sheep, cared for and protected. Even when we feel lost or unsure of our direction, His voice remains steady and familiar. He leads not with force, but with love.
When we say, “My beloved is mine, and I am His,” we affirm a relationship built on trust and closeness. We are safe in His care, guided by His wisdom, and held by His faithfulness. Our security rests in the One who never loses sight of us.
Prayer
Jesus, thank You for knowing me completely and loving me deeply. Help me recognize Your voice above all others and trust Your leading. Remind me that I belong to You and that I am safe in Your care. Amen.
