"He predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will— to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves."

Today’s Word

What a powerful reminder of our identity in Christ! These verses assure us that we are not here by accident—we were chosen, loved, and adopted by God through Jesus. It brings joy to know that before the world began, God had already written us into His story of grace. His love is not earned; it’s freely given. And because of that, we can walk in freedom, knowing we belong to Him. We live each day with the confidence that we are deeply valued and fully accepted by our Heavenly Father.

Prayer

Lord, thank You for the promise of Your eternal reign. Even when the world feels uncertain, I rest in the truth that You are on the throne. Fill my heart with joy, peace, and confidence as I trust in Your perfect plan. Help me to live today with the hope of Your Kingdom guiding my steps. Reign in me, and through me, shine Your light. Amen.
