“God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.”
Psalm 46:1
Today’s Word
Life can feel overwhelming when challenges pile up and strength runs low. In those moments, it’s easy to rely on your own understanding or try to control everything. But God invites you to find safety and rest in Him. He is not distant—He is present, steady, and unshaken by the storms you face.
Running to God doesn’t mean your problems disappear instantly, but it does mean you are no longer facing them alone. In His presence, fear loses its grip, and peace begins to settle in your heart. Today, instead of carrying everything on your own, lean into the refuge that never fails.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You for being my safe place. When life feels heavy, remind me to turn to You instead of relying on myself. Fill me with Your peace and strengthen me for whatever I face today. Help me to trust that You are always near. Amen.
