“So they came and carried them, still in their tunics, outside the camp, as Moses ordered.”
Leviticus 10:5
Today’s Word
This verse follows a sobering moment—when Nadab and Abihu, sons of Aaron, acted carelessly in the presence of God. Though dressed for priestly service, their hearts were not aligned with holy reverence. The result was tragic, and their removal served as a reminder: serving God is not just about appearance, but about obedience and awe.
In our walk today, we’re reminded that God desires sincerity, not performance. He sees beyond the outward and searches the heart. To walk with Him means to honor Him—not only in what we do but in how we do it.
Prayer
Lord, help me serve You with reverence and humility. May I never take Your presence lightly, and may my actions be rooted in obedience, not just tradition. Purify my heart and align my spirit with Yours. Amen.
