Rescued and Preserved! October 4, 2025

"The Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trials and to keep the unrighteous under punishment for the day of judgment."

2 Peter 2:9

Today’s Word

This verse reminds us that God is deeply aware of what His people go through. He is not distant or unaware of our struggles—He knows how to deliver us. Even when circumstances seem dark or unfair, God’s justice and mercy are both at work. He knows how to protect those who belong to Him while allowing His perfect plan to unfold.

When you feel trapped in trials or injustice, remember that God’s timing is perfect. His deliverance may not always come as we expect, but it is always right on time. Trust that He sees your faith, hears your prayers, and is working behind the scenes for your good.

Prayer

Lord, thank You for being my Deliverer and Defender. When trials surround me, remind me that You know exactly how to rescue me. Strengthen my faith to trust in Your timing and goodness, and help me rest in the assurance that You never forget Your people. Amen.
