Remove Doubt! August 12, 2026

“Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”

Today’s Word

There is something beautiful about the way children approach life. They trust easily, love sincerely, forgive quickly, and depend on those who care for them. When Jesus welcomed the little children, He was showing us that the heart God desires is not proud, complicated, or self-sufficient; it is humble, trusting, and willing to come to Him.

We may think we need to have everything figured out before we come to Him. But Jesus says, “Let the little children come to me.” He does not tell us to clean ourselves up first. He invites us to come.

Come to Him simply. Come to Him honestly. Come to Him with trust. His arms are open, and His invitation still stands.

Prayer

Lord Jesus, Give me a heart that trusts You like a child. Remove the fear, pride, and doubt that keep me from drawing near to You. Help me to depend on You, receive Your love, and trust You even when I do not understand what You are doing. Teach me to walk with humility, faith, and a sincere heart. May my life always make room for You.
