Our Secure Stronghold! September 6, 2026

“The Lord is a stronghold for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble. Those who know your name trust in you, for you, Lord, have never forsaken those who seek you.”

Today’s Word

Troubles are an inevitable part of life, but they do not get the final say. When pressure mounts from work, relationships, or internal anxieties, God invites you to run to Him as your fortress. A stronghold is a place of safety where the enemy cannot reach you. You don't have to be strong enough to fight every battle on your own; you just need to know the One who fights for you. He has a perfect track record—He has never forsaken those who seek Him.

Prayer

Father, when life feels overwhelming, remind me that You are my safe place. I hide myself in Your promises today. Thank You for being my protector and for never leaving my side, even in the middle of the storm. Amen.
