Moving Beyond Fear! September 16, 2026

“So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me”
Hebrews 13:6
Today’s Word
It is incredibly easy to let the opinions, actions, and judgments of others dictate our peace of mind. We often find ourselves stressing over what someone thinks of us, worrying about failing expectations, or fearing how the choices of people around us might disrupt our lives.
But Hebrews 13:6 offers a radical shift in perspective. It reminds us that our true security doesn't depend on the approval or goodwill of people. It relies entirely on the character of God. Because the Lord is our ultimate helper, we have a supernatural backing that can never be shaken.
When you anchor your heart in the truth that the Creator of the universe is actively on your side, fear begins to lose its grip. "What can man do to me?" is not a declaration that life will be completely free of conflict. Instead, it is a powerful reminder that no human action can ever undo God’s love for you, strip away your eternal purpose, or overpower His grace.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You for being my constant helper. Forgive me for the times I have let the fear of people or circumstances steal my peace. Today, I choose to place my trust firmly in You. When anxiety creeps in, remind me that You are right beside me and that Your power is greater than any challenge I face. Grant me the boldness to walk through this day with confidence, knowing I am completely secure in Your love. In Jesus' name, Amen.
