Today’s Word

God is a good Father, and He delights in caring for His children. Too often, believers expect difficulties more readily than they expect God's goodness. But faith looks to God's character and confidently expects His promises to come to pass.

When you meditate on His faithfulness, your expectation begins to rise. You realize that His goodness is not occasional—it is continual. His mercy is new every morning, His provision is sufficient, and His help is always available.

Today, choose to expect God's goodness in every area of your life. Expect His wisdom, His favor, His protection, and His provision. As you keep your eyes on Him, you'll become more aware of the many ways He is working on your behalf.

Prayer

Father, thank You for Your goodness and faithfulness. I choose to expect Your best today. I believe You are working in every area of my life, bringing Your wisdom, favor, and provision. I trust You completely and rejoice in Your goodness. In Jesus' name, amen.
