“And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit.”
Ephesians 5:18
Today’s Word
One of the greatest keys to living a victorious Christian life is staying full of the Spirit. Just as your physical body requires daily nourishment, your spirit requires daily fellowship with God. No one can live on yesterday's prayer, yesterday's Word, or yesterday's supply.
The pressures of life are constantly trying to pull on your peace, your joy, and your strength. But God never intended for you to face life's demands with your own ability. He has provided a continual supply through the Holy Spirit.
When you spend time worshiping, praying, and feeding on the Word, you're not trying to earn God's help—you are positioning yourself to receive from the supply that already belongs to you. The more full you are of His Spirit, the less room there is for fear, discouragement, and worry.
Don't wait until you're facing a crisis to seek God's presence. Make it your daily practice to stay filled. A believer who stays full of the Spirit can walk through challenges with confidence, because they're drawing from a supernatural source that never runs dry.
Today, choose to keep your heart turned toward Him. His strength is available. His wisdom is available. His peace is available. Stay full, and you'll stay strong.
Prayer
Father, thank You for the precious Holy Spirit who lives within me. I purpose to spend time in Your presence and feed on Your Word today. Fill me afresh with Your strength, wisdom, and peace. I refuse to be moved by circumstances, and I choose to draw from Your unlimited supply. Thank You that I am strengthened, refreshed, and empowered for everything You have called me to do. In Jesus' name, Amen.
