Today’s Word

When life feels heavy and voices rise against us, we can take comfort in knowing that the Lord surrounds us like a shield. David’s confidence came not from his strength but from God’s protection. In every battle—whether seen or unseen—God remains our defender and sustainer. He lifts our heads when fear or shame tries to bow them down. When you feel overwhelmed, remember that the Lord is near, holding your heart steady and your spirit strong.

Prayer

Faithful Father, thank You for being my shield and strength. When I am weary, lift my head and remind me that You are my glory. Surround me with Your peace and protect me from every fear. May my confidence rest in You alone, today and always. Amen.
