He Cares For You! April 29, 2026

“Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.”

1 Peter 5:7

Today’s Word

Life has a way of piling things up—responsibilities, worries, unanswered questions. Sometimes we carry them so long they start to feel normal, even though they weigh us down. This verse is a gentle but direct reminder: you don’t have to hold everything on your own.

“Cast” implies action. It’s not just acknowledging your worries—it’s actively handing them over. And not reluctantly, but with trust. Why? Because God cares. Not in a distant or abstract way, but personally and attentively.

Whatever is sitting heavy on your mind today—decisions, fears about the future, or things you can’t control—God invites you to release them. That doesn’t mean everything will instantly change, but it does mean you don’t have to face it alone.

Take a quiet moment and write down one thing that’s worrying you. Then, in prayer, consciously “hand it over” to God. When the worry comes back, remind yourself—you’ve already given it to Him.

Prayer

Lord, You know what’s weighing on my heart today. Help me to truly give it to You instead of holding on. Teach me to trust that You care about every detail of my life. Give me peace where there is worry, and rest where there is tension. Amen.
