God Will Fight for You! July 4

“Arise, Lord! Deliver me, my God! Strike all my enemies on the jaw; break the teeth of the wicked.”

Psalm 3:7

Today’s Word

David cried out to God not from a place of strength, but from a place of desperation. Surrounded by enemies, he didn’t rely on his own power—he called on the Deliverer.

This verse reminds us that even in the fiercest battles, God is our defender. You may feel overwhelmed by criticism, fear, or spiritual warfare, but you don’t have to fight alone. God hears your cry. He rises on your behalf.

So lift your eyes, even when you feel outnumbered. Your strength is not in your fists, but in your faith.

Prayer

Lord, when I feel surrounded by opposition or fear, help me remember that You fight for me. Thank You for being my shield, my defender, and my Deliverer. Amen.
