God Provides the Way Forward! September 13, 2025

“When Jacob learned that there was grain in Egypt, he said to his sons, ‘Why do you just keep looking at each other?’ He continued, ‘I have heard that there is grain in Egypt. Go down there and buy some for us, so that we may live and not die.’”

Genesis 42:1–2

Today’s Word

When famine struck the land, Jacob’s family was faced with a choice: stay where they were and perish, or take a step of faith toward provision. Sometimes God’s blessings require us to move, to act, and to trust that He has already prepared what we need. What may seem like desperation in the moment can actually be the doorway to divine destiny, just as Joseph’s story unfolded in Egypt.

Like Jacob’s sons, don’t remain idle in seasons of lack or uncertainty. God has already placed the answer within reach—your part is to take the step.

Trust that the Lord is not only aware of your needs but is also ahead of you, arranging the details. His provision may not always come in the way you expect, but His faithfulness never fails.

Prayer

Father, thank You for being my Provider in every season. Help me not to sit still in fear or doubt but to step forward in faith, believing that You have already made a way. Guide my choices, sustain me with Your presence, and let me see Your hand at work in my life. Amen.
