God Knows What We Need! March 2, 2025

“The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters.”

Today's Word

The Lord, our Shepherd, leads us beside still waters and makes us lie down in green pastures. He provides rest for our souls, guiding us to places of peace and renewal. When the world is noisy and chaotic, we can find tranquility in His care. Just as a shepherd knows the needs of his sheep, God knows what we need—rest, comfort, and direction. He invites us to trust in His provision, to rest in His presence, and to follow His lead, knowing He will take us to places of peace and safety.

In every season, God’s rest is available to us. When we follow His lead, we find that His perfect plan includes moments of rest and renewal, strengthening us to face whatever lies ahead.

Prayer

Father, thank You for the rest You offer. Help me to come to You with my burdens and trust in Your promise of peace. Lead me beside still waters and into places of rest, that I may be renewed and refreshed in Your presence. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
