God Is in Control! April 21, 2026

“Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.”

1 Peter 5:7

Today’s Word

Life gets noisy—responsibilities, worries, plans, and distractions all competing for attention. This verse is a gentle but firm reminder that not everything needs your immediate reaction. Sometimes, the most powerful thing you can do is pause.

Being “still” doesn’t just mean physically slowing down. It means quieting your inner world—your fears, your overthinking, your need to control outcomes. In that stillness, you create space to recognize that God is present and at work, even when things feel uncertain.

Today, instead of trying to solve everything at once, take a moment to breathe and trust. You don’t have to carry every burden alone.

Prayer

Lord, help me to slow down today. Quiet my thoughts and remind me that You are in control. Teach me to trust You in the stillness and not just in the noise. Amen.
