Formed with Purpose! October 3, 2025

“Then the Lord God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.”

Genesis 2:7

Today’s Word

This verse is a powerful reminder that our very existence comes from God’s hands and breath. We are not random or accidental—we are intentionally formed and filled with His life. The same God who shaped Adam out of the dust also shaped us with purpose, giving us dignity, worth, and identity in Him.

When life feels overwhelming or when we question our value, Genesis 2:7 calls us back to the truth: we carry the breath of God within us. Our lives are sacred, and our purpose is rooted not in what we achieve but in who created us. We are fully alive because God chose to give us His breath.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, thank You for creating me with intention and breathing Your life into me. Help me to remember that my worth comes from You alone. Guide me to live each day honoring the gift of life You’ve given, and may my words and actions reflect Your breath within me. Amen.
