“Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.”
Ephesians 4:32
Today’s Word
It’s easy to carry around small hurts—words that stung, moments that felt unfair, or people who disappointed us. Without realizing it, those things can quietly harden our hearts.
But God calls us to something higher: a heart that reflects Him.
Kindness isn’t just about being polite—it’s about choosing grace when it’s undeserved. Compassion means pausing long enough to understand someone else’s struggle. And forgiveness… forgiveness is one of the most powerful ways we become more like Christ.
When we remember how much we’ve been forgiven, it changes how we treat others. We begin to let go of grudges. We respond with gentleness instead of anger. We choose love, even when it’s difficult.
Today is an opportunity to reflect God’s heart in a real, practical way. Someone in your life may need your kindness more than you realize.
Prayer
Lord, soften my heart. Help me to be kind, compassionate, and quick to forgive. When it’s hard to love others, remind me of the grace You’ve shown me. Teach me to reflect Your heart in everything I do. Amen.
