Today’s Word

We live in a world that demands proof. We want to see the blueprint before we build, check the reviews before we buy, and know the outcome before we take a risk. Our human nature tells us that seeing is believing.

But God introduces us to a completely different economy: faith.

Hebrews 11:1 doesn't describe faith as wishful thinking or a blind leap into the dark. Instead, it calls faith confidence and assurance. It is the firm bedrock beneath our feet when the future looks completely blurry. Faith takes God at His word, believing that His promises are more real than the circumstances we can see with our physical eyes.

When you pray for a broken relationship, a financial breakthrough, or peace in a season of anxiety, you might not see immediate changes. The physical evidence might even tell you to give up. But faith anchors your heart in the character of God. It reminds you that just because God is working behind the scenes doesn’t mean He isn't working at all. Today, let go of the need to have every detail figured out and trust the One who holds tomorrow.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, thank You for being completely trustworthy. Forgive me for the times I let fear and sight guide my steps instead of faith in You. Today, I choose to place my confidence in Your promises, even when I cannot see the path ahead. Give me the strength to stand firm, knowing that You are already working in the unseen details of my life. In Jesus' name, Amen.
