Drawing Near in Prayer! October 2, 2025

“O Lord, the great and awesome God, who keeps His covenant and mercy with those who love Him and obey His commandments.”

Daniel 9:4

Today’s Word

Daniel’s prayer in this moment reminds us of the power of humility and devotion. He approached God with reverence, acknowledging His greatness and mercy, even as he confessed the sins of his people. True faith is not only about asking but also about honoring God through a heart that recognizes His holiness and trusts His promises.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, I come before You with a humble heart. Thank You for Your mercy and faithfulness. Help me to love You fully, obey Your commands, and trust Your guidance in every area of my life. Strengthen me to walk in Your ways and honor You through my words, actions, and prayers. Amen.
