Brought to Light! September 8, 2026

“For there is nothing covered that shall not be revealed; neither hid, that shall not be known.”

Luke 12:2 

Today’s Word

Living a double life is a pointless endeavor. Nothing stays hidden forever. Every secret thought, every action done in the dark, and every true motive of the heart will eventually be brought into the blinding light of God’s truth.

While this reality can feel terrifying at first glance, for the believer, it is ultimately a call to freedom. It invites us to drop the heavy masks we wear. We do not need to exhaust ourselves trying to look perfect to the world when God already sees exactly who we are. When we live with integrity, transparency, and a clean conscience, we no longer have to fear the light. We can step out of the shadows of secrecy and walk boldly in the grace and truth of Jesus Christ.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, search my heart today. Reveal any hidden areas of hypocrisy, pride, or deceit that I am trying to keep covered. Give me the courage to live transparently before You and others. Thank You that even though You see my deepest flaws, You love me completely. Help me to walk in integrity and truth today. In Jesus' name, Amen.
