A Promise of Completion! August 19, 2025

“Being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.”

Philippians 1:6

Today’s Word

This verse is a promise of God’s faithfulness—you are a work in progress, and He is the Master Builder of your life. No matter the challenges, setbacks, or seasons of waiting, God has already started something beautiful in you, and He will not abandon it halfway. His grace sustains you, His hand shapes you, and His timing perfects you. When doubts arise, you can rest in the confidence that He is still at work, turning every detail into part of His greater plan for your life.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, strengthen my faith to believe that every step, every trial, and every blessing is part of Your plan to bring me closer to the likeness of Christ. Remove the fear of failure and replace it with confidence in Your unfailing promise. Teach me to be patient in the process and joyful in the journey, knowing that the good work You started in me will be completed in Your perfect time. Lord, may my life continually reflect Your glory as I walk in hope and perseverance. Amen.
