A Heart Aligned with Gratitude! November 27, 2025

ree
And be thankful.”

Colossians 3:15

Today’s Word

Colossians 3:15 may be brief, but it carries a weighty instruction—be thankful. We are reminded that gratitude is not an emotion; it is a spiritual discipline. It is a decision of the heart. God calls us to let His peace rule within us, and thanksgiving is the pathway that keeps our hearts tender, steady, and aware of His presence.

When you choose thankfulness, you position yourself to see God’s hand in every detail. A grateful heart doesn’t deny challenges—it rises above them. It recognizes that God is working, God is leading, and God is supplying. Gratitude shifts our focus from what we lack to the abundance He has already placed in our lives. It keeps our spirit bright, our faith strong, and our expectations high.

Today, pause and acknowledge His goodness. Let thanksgiving flow naturally, consistently, and intentionally. A thankful heart creates an atmosphere where God’s peace and power can work freely.

Prayer

Lord, I thank You for Your faithfulness that goes before me and surrounds me. Teach me to cultivate a heart of gratitude in every season. Help me recognize Your blessings—seen and unseen—and respond with thanksgiving. May my heart stay tender, my spirit steady, and my words full of praise. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
