“For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.”
Ephesians 6:12
Today’s Word
There are seasons when life feels like a battlefield—when your mind is attacked with doubt, your heart is pressured with fear, and your faith is tested from every side. But the Word reminds us in Ephesians 6:12 that we do not wrestle against flesh and blood. The war is spiritual, and so is the victory. You are not fighting for victory—you are fighting from victory. Because of what Jesus accomplished, you already stand on winning ground.
The enemy may try to intimidate you, but he cannot defeat you when you are rooted in truth. In times of warfare, don’t retreat—put on the full armor of God. Guard your thoughts. Speak the Word boldly. Praise in the middle of pressure. Every prayer you pray is a weapon. Every declaration of faith weakens the attack. God has equipped you, empowered you, and positioned you to overcome. This battle will not break you; it will build you.
Prayer
Lord, thank You that I am not fighting alone. Clothe me with Your armor and strengthen me in every area of weakness. Teach my hands to war in the Spirit and my heart to remain steady in faith. I declare that no weapon formed against me shall prosper. I walk in authority, courage, and victory. In Jesus’ name, amen.
