“God chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things—and the things that are not to nullify the things that are, so that no one may boast before him.”

 Isaiah 25:1

Today’s Word

The world loves to evaluate worth based on resume, status, and external strength. We often feel pressure to have everything together before we can be used by God or make a meaningful impact. But God's economy works in reverse.

Paul reminds us that God deliberately chooses what the world labels "lowly," "despised," or insignificant. He takes the fragile, unqualified pieces of our lives and turns them into platforms for His grace. Why? Because when a broken instrument produces a beautiful melody, everyone knows it was the Musician, not the instrument. Your weaknesses, your past mistakes, or the areas where you feel "not enough" are the exact places where God's power is best displayed. You don't need to boast in your own strength when you can rest in His.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, thank You that my value doesn't depend on how the world measures success. Thank You for choosing what is humble and fragile to show Your immense strength. I hand You my insecurities and weaknesses today, asking that You use them for Your glory. Let my life be a reflection of Your grace, not my own effort. Amen.
