“Lord, you are my God; I will exalt you and praise your name, for in perfect faithfulness you have done wonderful things, things planned long ago.”

It is easy to feel like our lives are dictated by random accidents, sudden shifts, or chaotic moments. When the unexpected happens, we naturally worry about tomorrow. But Isaiah reminds us of a comforting, rock-solid truth: God doesn't improvise.

The wonderful things He is doing in your life today—and the victories He is preparing for your tomorrow—are things He planned long ago. Before you even stepped into your current circumstances, God had already mapped out His perfect faithfulness. He is a meticulous architect, and His blueprints for your life are woven with goodness, purpose, and love. Because He is unchanging, you can praise His name right now, even if you are still waiting for the full picture to unfold.

Prayer

Lord, You are my God, and I choose to exalt You today. When life feels unpredictable, remind me that nothing catches You by surprise. Thank You for Your perfect faithfulness and for the beautiful plans You laid out for me long ago. I place my tomorrow in Your hands. Amen.
