“Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.”
John 15:13
Today’s Word
Before the cross, there was a decision—Jesus chose love. Not because it was easy, but because it was necessary. He saw every flaw, every mistake, every moment of weakness—and still chose to stay, to give, and to redeem. This kind of love is not surface-level or temporary; it is intentional, personal, and deeply committed.
Today is a reminder that you are deeply loved—not casually, but sacrificially. His love wasn’t passive—it moved, it gave, it endured. When you feel unseen or unworthy, remember that the cross already settled your value. You were worth the cost. And because of that love, you are invited not just to receive it, but to reflect it—through patience, kindness, and grace toward others.
Prayer
Jesus, thank You for choosing love—for choosing me. Help me to understand the depth of Your sacrifice and to walk in that same kind of love today. Amen.
