“But go, tell his disciples and Peter, ‘He is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him, just as he told you.”
Revelation 9:11
Today’s Word
When the angel said, “and Peter,” it was more than a name—it was grace spoken aloud. Though Peter had denied Jesus, the Lord made sure he was not left behind. This moment reveals a love that restores, a Savior who calls us back when we’ve fallen.
No failure is beyond God’s forgiveness. Jesus doesn’t define us by our mistakes but by His mercy. He calls each of us by name, reminding us that His resurrection brings not only life—but restoration and hope.
Prayer
Jesus, thank You for the grace that calls me by name even after I’ve failed You. Teach me to receive Your forgiveness and walk again in Your purpose. Restore my heart where it’s been broken, and help me extend the same mercy to others that You’ve freely given me. Amen.
